ProStart Grid Software Consulting

Your startup MVP should ship with code you can defend in a technical review—not a patchwork of tutorials that collapses under real users.

When “fast MVP” hides expensive rework

Founders often arrive with a half-built Node or Python service, a mobile shell that never talks to auth, and a backlog written for a team that never existed. The pain is not missing features—it is unclear boundaries between prototype spikes and production modules.

We start by mapping what must be true for your first paying users: data model, deployment target, and the smallest API surface that still supports refunds or bookings if your model needs them.

Symptoms we hear on first calls

Deployments that only work on one laptop. Secrets checked into git history. A “temporary” admin panel that became the product. Stakeholders asking for SOC-friendly logging when the app still prints passwords on error paths.

Our consulting engagements name these risks explicitly and sequence fixes so you can keep shipping while hardening the spine of the MVP.

  • Architecture walkthrough with written findings
  • Fixed-scope build sprints with weekly demos
  • Pairing blocks for your in-house juniors
We do not sell shelf software. Every engagement is project-based engineering, priced after we understand your MVP constraints.

Where we intervene in the build

Three common pressure points in early startup codebases—each tied to work we have scoped as standalone consulting modules.

Implementation support

Hands-on PR reviews, test harnesses, and CI steps sized for a two-person team.

Client surfaces

Web and mobile clients wired to the same API contracts—no duplicate business rules in the UI layer.

Technical reviews before you sign another vendor

Bring us a repo, a staging URL, or a vendor proposal. We document what is solid, what is cosmetic, and what will fail under concurrent users or payment edge cases.

Reviews conclude with a prioritized remediation list your team—or our implementation sprint—can execute without guessing.

Questions founders ask before hiring

Do you replace an entire dev team?

Usually no. We anchor on the riskiest slices—payments, auth, data model—and leave commodity UI work with your staff when that is cheaper for you.

Which stacks do you work in?

Common stacks include TypeScript/React, Python/FastAPI, and PostgreSQL on cloud VMs or managed services. We choose based on your hiring market in Taiwan and abroad, not fashion.

How are projects priced?

After a discovery call we quote fixed-scope milestones. Hourly advisory is available for reviews; build work is quoted per milestone with written acceptance criteria.

Can you work with our Luodong or remote team?

Yes. We are based in Yilan County and routinely pair over video with distributed contributors. On-site working sessions are available by arrangement.
