Refund and cancellation policy

ProStart Grid Software Consulting (Unified Business No. 24218648) offers paid consulting and engineering services. This policy explains cancellations and refunds for distance contracts under the Consumer Protection Act framework in Taiwan.
Cooling-off period
For standard consumer distance contracts, Taiwan law provides a seven-day cooling-off period (七日猶豫期) unless an exception applies. Custom consulting and software services already performed with your written consent are commonly excluded. We will confirm applicability in your statement of work.
Deposits and milestones
- Discovery deposits are refundable if we have not yet delivered the agreed discovery memo.
- Build milestones are non-refundable once work for that milestone has started, except where we fail to deliver the written acceptance criteria.
- Review engagements are refundable only before we begin analysis of your materials.
How to request a refund
Email info@prostart-grid.digital or call +886-3-0000-2220 with your name, invoice reference, and reason. We respond within five business days.
Processing time
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within fourteen business days where the payment provider allows.
Cancellations and rescheduling
You may reschedule kickoff calls with at least forty-eight hours’ notice. Late cancellations may forfeit a scheduling deposit if one was stated in your quote.
No-shows
If you miss a scheduled discovery call without notice, we may apply one rescheduling fee as stated in your quote.
